• Hospital experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Interview patient or representative to obtain demographics
• Secure insurance information, eligibility, benefits and authorizations
• Coordinate with Admitting, PBX and reception areas
• Input and retrieve data on computer systems
• Communicate with patients across age groups (neonatal to geriatrics)
• Maintain proficiency in medical terminology
• Complete special projects within specified timeframes
