UF Health in Jacksonville is seeking a Part-time Patient Care Assistant to support direct patient care under the supervision of an RN. The role includes ensuring a clean, orderly environment and delivering patient-centered care during night shifts from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

Qualified candidates have a High School Diploma or GED, BLS certification, and less than one year of experience. CPI training is required within 90 days for the Psychiatric unit and annually thereafter.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than one year of experience.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Crisis Prevention Institute training within 90 days of hire or transfer and then annually (Psychiatric unit).

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care and supportive services under RN supervision.
• Keeps environment clean and orderly; promotes patient and family satisfaction.
