Job summary

Global Medical Response seeks Paramedics for AMR Barrow in Georgia, offering a full-time night shift from 8pm to 8am. You will deliver advanced patient care and lead scene operations, including ambulance driving on 911 calls.

Responsibilities include assessing calls, using defibrillators and monitors, coordinating with medical staff, and engaging with the community to uphold AMR’s image and reputation. Requires valid State Paramedic License, BLS/ACLS and NREMT-Paramedic, plus a clean driving

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED.
State Paramedic License.
State Driver’s License.
BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic.
Driving record compliant with company policy.
Pass Physical Agility Test.
Some work experience, preferably healthcare.

Responsibilities

Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment including defibrillator and EKG monitor.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance.
Act as Paramedic team leader and manage scene and unit as needed.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Work with allied health and public safety personnel professionally.
Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image.
