Job summary

Wellstar Spalding EMS is seeking a Paramedic for the night shift to deliver emergency medical care at the scene and during transport. You will perform initial scene assessments, provide life-saving interventions, and document care per physician orders and ACLS protocol.

Responsibilities include patient safety, on-route care, and participation in community life-safety programs. Minimum certifications include ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Paramedic; a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must hold ACLS, BLS, PALS, and Paramedic certifications.
• Valid driver's license required and EMT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency care at the scene of accidents or emergencies.
• Prepare for response, deliver care, transport, and document care.
• Assess scene and patient, initiate life-saving treatment when needed.
• Administer CPR, oxygen, IVs, and medications per orders.
• Operate within ACLS protocols and participate in community programs.
• Adhere to policy, safety, and Wellstar Health System standards.
