Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, is seeking a Paramedic for a full-time night shift position (36 hours per week) to join our EMS transport team. The role focuses on providing advanced life support care to patients of all ages under the direction of an emergency medical physician or equivalent supervisor.

Minimum requirements include an Indiana IDHS-licensed Paramedic, BLS, and PALS/ACLS certifications, as well as a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Paramedic license through IDHS is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• PALS & ACLS certifications issued by approved bodies are required.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced life support care under medical direction.
• Delivers direct patient care across all ages.
• Completes patient care reports accurately and timely.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness and clean, stocked conditions.
• Performs ambulance transportation within the scope of the Paramedic.
• Keeps knowledge of fleet and equipment current.
