Job summary

Baptist Health Hardin is seeking a full-time Paramedic for the Transport EMS team. The role is 36 hours over 3 days per week, night shift from 6 PM to 6 AM, with duties including advanced life support, patient assessment, and documentation.

The position requires Kentucky licensed Paramedic with BLS, PALS, and ACLS. Excellent benefits and equal opportunity employer status are offered by Baptist Health.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• BLS certification.
• PALS & ACLS certification by AHA or ARC.
• Other certifications and specialty training as required by Kentucky Board of EMS.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care within department protocols and state scope of practice.
• Recognizes and communicates changes in patient condition.
• Completes all required documentation and patient care reports on time.
• Provides care appropriate to the emergency population and maintains the environment of care.
• Performs ambulance transportation services within scope of practice.
• Sets priorities for transport of multiple patients.
• Coordinates plan of delivery and resources.
