Job summary

Baptist Health Hardin in Kentucky is seeking a full-time Paramedic for the Transport EMS team. This night-shift role runs 6 PM–6 AM and involves delivering advanced emergency and non-emergency care, assessing patients, and transporting under medical director protocols.

You will document patient information accurately, communicate clearly with patients, staff and facilities, maintain vehicle and equipment readiness, and participate in ongoing training to support team excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency.
• Active Paramedic license through the Kentucky Board of EMS.
• BLS certification.
• PALS & ACLS certification issued by AHA or ARC.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care within department protocols and state scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Document all required patient care reports accurately.
• Transport patients by ambulance within the paramedic scope.
• Set priorities for the transport of multiple patients.
• Coordinate resources and plan delivery.
• Maintain knowledge of each vehicle and operate safely.
• Ensure ambulance is clean, stocked and ready at shift start and end.
• Ensure ALS gear readiness and proper utilization.
