Job summary

MetroHealth Medical Center in Ohio seeks an EMT-Paramedic for direct patient care under physician and nurse supervision. You will perform administrative, clerical and clinical duties, while upholding patient safety, confidentiality, and the system's standards.

Required EMT-Paramedic certification with BLS/ACLS/PALS; able to interpret EKG tests and work with diverse patient populations. On-site role with rotating shifts and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• EMT-Paramedic certification required in Ohio.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required or obtainable per hire.
• Ability to pass EKG interpretation test within 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under Physician direction and Nurse supervision.
• Perform administrative, clerical and clinical duties as assigned.
• Adhere to MetroHealth System policies and maintain patient safety and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care, condition, treatment and response.
