Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Panel Operator to join our feed production team. You will monitor and program computer terminals, operate equipment, and guide feed through bins to ensure precise batches and high-quality output during the night shift (Mon-Fri and Sat/Sun, 11:00 pm – 7:00 am).

You will follow food safety procedures, assist in maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and collaborate with Quality Control, Mill management and Maintenance to keep production running smoothly and safely.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batching, grinding, and pelleting terminals to ensure efficient mix of raw feed ingredients.
• Follow all food safety, breeder, NAE and NICARB program procedures.
• Ensure feeds are produced per their formulas.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment as required.
• Communicate with Quality Control, Mill management and Maintenance staff.
• Coordinate feed production with dispatchers and bin space.
