Job summary

Perdue Foods is seeking a Food Production Mixer to support our production process by preparing and moving raw materials, mixing the correct blends, and operating equipment such as V-mag lifts and mixers to keep production flowing safely and efficiently. You will rotate through key positions, maintain a clean, organized work environment, and contribute to team performance in a fast-paced, team-driven setting.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:00 pm–4:00 am.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, communication math, writing and analytical skills.
• High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

• Travel on wet, dry concrete surface pushing empty V-mags, weighing 82 pounds, into the cooler in order to fill the V-mags with raw meat.
• Shovel the correct mixture of raw meat, weighing 30 pounds from tanks into V-mags, by reaching and leaning 29 inches and rate 12 repetitions.
• Push the full V-mags weighing 491 pounds and on wheels approximately 131 feet into the ground turkey room.
• Shoveling the chicken meat.
