Job summary

Perdue Farms in Forsyth, GA is seeking a Panel Operator for the 2nd shift to oversee feed production using advanced control systems. You will monitor and program terminals, operate equipment, and guide feeds through proper bins to ensure quality and efficiency.

The position offers a base hourly rate of $19.29 with pay premiums, shift differentials and overtime as applicable, plus an annual bonus and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, 401(k) with employer match, and more.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• 2 years’ experience.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor batching, grinding, and pelleting terminals and related equipment to ensure efficient mixing of raw feed ingredients and quality feeds.
• Follow all food safety, breeder, NAE and NICARB program procedures.
• Ensure feeds are produced per their formulas.
• Perform maintenance and cleaning of equipment as required.
• Communicate effectively with Quality Control, Mill management, and Maintenance personnel.
• Coordinate feed production with dispatchers regarding orders and bin space.
