Job summary

TekniPlex, Inc. in Clayton, NC, is hiring a Production Operator for the 1st shift (Collection, Packaging, Inspection). This full-time, on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with overtime as needed, at a pay of $22 per hour.

You will collect and package product to specs, perform setup and line clearance, inspect for defects, and maintain production records. Requires a high school diploma and ability to lift 30 pounds and stand all day, with TekniPlex benefits and growth

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Ability to stand for 8 hours or more.

Responsibilities

• Collect and package product in compliance with customer and quality specifications.
• Perform setup, changeover and initial line clearance for assigned production line.
• Inspect product for defects and deviations using measuring devices.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions.
• Maintain complete and accurate production records.
