Job summary

Pretium Packaging in Greensboro, NC, is seeking a detail‑oriented Packer Inspector for the night shift 11:50pm to 8:00am to ensure high‑quality plastic products are packaged correctly and ready for shipment.

You will inspect finished products for defects, package according to specifications, label packages, and help maintain a safe, efficient work environment while supporting continuous quality improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging preferred.
• Ability to spot defects and maintain quality.
• Strong time management and organization.

Responsibilities

• Inspect finished plastic products for defects, such as cracks, deformities, or color inconsistencies.
• Package plastic products according to specifications, including selecting appropriate packaging materials and ensuring proper sealing.
• Label packages accurately with product information and any necessary warning labels.
• Monitor and maintain production line efficiency by identifying and resolving any packaging or production issues.
• Communicate any quality concerns or issues to supervisors and collaborate on solutions.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposing of waste materials and adhering to safety guidelines.
• Monitor and control inventory of packaging materials and notify supervisors when supplies need to be replenished.
• Other duties as assigned.
