Job summary

Amcor LLC is hiring a Packer Handler for our Oregon production facility. You will maintain a clean work area, inspect products, and address quality issues while supporting production lines. The role involves assembling components, labeling, and aiding with material handling to meet customer requirements.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a 12-hour shift pattern. After 90 days, pay may increase to $19.00 per hour based on performance. Benefits follow after 30 days.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production experience a plus but not required.
• Must be able to keep up with the fast-paced production cycles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
• Inspect product to ensure quality.
• Set aside product that is below quality standards.
• Alert Team Leader and Mold Tech of any quality issues.
• Watch molds for irregularities or sticking.
• Respond promptly to quality issues.
• Assemble product by installing gaskets and handles.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack product per customer/instructions.
• Prepare proper product identification/labels.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks.
• Clean up during machine interruptions.
• Complete required paperwork.
