Job summary

Amcor is hiring for a Packer/Handler on 12-hour shifts in Kentucky. You will maintain a safe, clean work area, inspect product for quality, assemble containers by installing gaskets and handles, and label and pack according to customer instructions.

This role starts at $18.00 per hour, with $19.00 after 90 days and a $1.00 shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision after 30 days, PTO, 401(k) eligibility after 90 days, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous production experience is a plus but not required.
• Must keep up with fast-paced production cycles.
• Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds safely.

Responsibilities

• Inspect products to ensure quality and set aside substandard items.
• Assemble products by installing gaskets and handles as required.
• Flame containers and lids when required.
• Stack and pack products per customer orders and instructions.
• Identify alpha/numeric product codes for labeling.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Assist with material handling and other tasks as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
