Job summary

Printpack is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Press Department in Villa Rica, GA, on a NIGHT SHIFT schedule (3/2). Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a small team and drive safety, quality, and productivity on the night shift.

You will coach associates, manage performance, and ensure ISO 9001 procedures are followed while controlling costs and advancing initiatives like 5S, QCO, and AIB. Prior manufacturing and ERP familiarity are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Advanced production knowledge; management experience preferred.
• Must pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Resume containing relevant skills and experience is required.
• Internal candidates: must have received a 'Performer' or better on last review.
• Must not have active disciplinary action higher than Written Warning.
• Must be in current position for more than 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Manage the shift to ensure safety, waste, quality, and productivity goals are achieved.
• Provide associates with coaching, feedback, and timely performance reviews.
• Ensure ISO 9001 Quality System procedures are followed.
• Oversee plant initiatives such as 5S, QCO, and AIB.
• Supervise shift personnel in a manner that promotes fairness and high morale.
• Control operating costs.
• Perform job checkouts and decisions regarding quality.
• Oversee the department on the night shift to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead a small team to achieve specific QCO goals.
