Job summary

Georgia-Pacific's packaging manufacturing facility in Jonesboro, AR is seeking a Shift Supervisor for the Inline Department. You will hire, develop and lead hourly staff, drive a PBM culture, and build capability and performance across the shift.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and team development, with responsibility for staffing, coaching and performance reviews. This is a night-shift position with opportunities to influence operations and plant culture.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing/industrial setting.
• Experience with safety and environmental policies and processes.
• Experience implementing and sustaining quality control systems.
• Experience facilitating one-on-one and group conversations.
• Able and willing to work a night shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and retain contribution-motivated employees for the shift.
• Help team understand and embrace the vision, strategies and priorities.
• Motivate employees to maximize long-term success and potential.
• Coordinate safety risk assessments and implement risk-reduction solutions.
• Focus on human performance by educating and coaching on processes.
• Interface with process engineers, other leaders, and maintenance to address gaps.
• Lead performance reviews, career development and compensation discussions.
• Lead staffing and training plans for hourly team members with HR and your leader.
