Job summary

Utz Quality Foods, Inc. in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our night shift on a rotating schedule.

You’ll oversee packaging operations, drive safety, quality, and efficiency, and develop a high-performing team that delivers consistent results each shift. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in food manufacturing, strong leadership, GMP/HACCP knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in food manufacturing or mass production.
• Experience in USDA-regulated facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, SSOPs.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and operate manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all shift production operations for processing and packaging.
• Lead and manage hourly and temporary associates, including training and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP and company procedures.
• Conduct pre and post-op inspections and maintain documentation for safety, quality and audits.
• Schedule, assign and adjust labor based on production demands.
• Monitor line performance, labor efficiency and packaging waste.
• Collaborate with QA and Maintenance to resolve quality or equipment issues.
