Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Kings Mountain, NC is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the night shift on a rotating schedule. You will oversee packaging operations, guide a team of hourly and temporary associates, and ensure production runs safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.

Responsibilities include supervising all shift production, training and coaching staff, ensuring GMP/HACCP compliance, performing pre/post inspections, and optimizing labor and line performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in food manufacturing or mass production, preferably in a USDA‑regulated facility.
• Proven experience managing teams and leading plant programs.
• Working knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
• Comfortable working in a physical, hands-on role (able to lift up to 50 lbs).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
• A commitment to excellence and a passion for food safety and operations.

We’re seeking a Production Supervisor to lead our night shift rotating schedule and help shape a high‑performing team that delivers quality every shift.

In this role, you’ll oversee Packaging operations, ensuring production runs safely, efficiently, and consistently. You’ll be instrumental in guiding your team, fostering collaboration, and driving success in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Rotating Work Schedule

• Week 1: Thursday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM
• Week 2: Friday–Sunday, 6:00 PM–6:30 AM (Schedule repeats weekly)
