Job summary

fairlife, LLC in Coopersville, MI is seeking a Packaging Operator to set up, run and troubleshoot labeling, case packing, blow molding and palletizing lines on a night shift. The role requires following GMP and safety rules while producing defect-free packaged products.

You will monitor machine performance, adjust equipment, ensure quality, and maintain a clean, audit-ready packaging area. The job is non-exempt with opportunities for growth in a leading dairy company backed by Coca‑Cola.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English: written and verbal.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Ability to operate equipment after training.
• Must have or obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety, GMP, and working Rules.
• Report to Production Supervisors.
• Safely operate and adjust packaging processes to produce defect-free products.
• Monitor quality and adherence to specifications and SOPs.
• Inspect cases, bottles, and labeling; adjust as needed for finished goods.
• Clear jams and perform minor repairs; escalate as required.
• Supply packaging materials and keep lines stocked.
• Maintain a clean, audit-ready packaging area during production.
• Assist with training new personnel and other duties as assigned.
