Job summary

SunOpta, Inc. in Midlothian, TX is seeking a Downline Operator I to learn and operate packaging equipment on the night shift.

You will monitor line performance, perform quality checks, and support maintenance and sanitation to ensure safe, compliant production of beverages and snacks. This role expects standing for long shifts, lifting up to 50 lbs, strict adherence to GMPs, SSOPs and safety rules, and teamwork to keep lines running on a 2-2-3 schedule with clear communication and accurate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Excellent math and computer skills preferred.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision.
• Must be able to stand and lift up to 50 lbs frequently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and learn the Downline Packaging equipment and learn basic coders functionality.
• Ensure efficient operation of distribution equipment and support maintenance activities.
• Follow written and verbal instructions to meet quality and efficiency standards.
• Relieve other production team members for breaks and absences as required.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and participate in safety programs.
• Monitor WIP material and assist with maintenance as needed.
