Job summary

Silgan Dispensing in Spokane, WA, is seeking a Production Operator I to work on a production line packaging products for distribution to customers. After training, you will operate packaging machinery, follow GMP guidelines, and ensure quality and safety standards.

The role requires cross-training, teamwork, and reliable attendance, with a Graveyard shift and pay of $17.35–$20.00 per hour, DOE.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing facility preferred.
• Knowledge of GMP regulations preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret written policies and procedures.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with others to achieve goals.
• Prior production line experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates production line packaging products following written guidelines and specifications.
• Independently operates production machinery after training and certification.
• Follows established quality requirements for each product.
• Adheres to all safety policies and procedures for operating equipment and handling materials.
• Cross-train to other work stations to enable rotation of work.
• Maintains a clean, organized work area.
• Promotes teamwork to achieve production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
• Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, QSR/ISO, FDA, OSHA, and all other regulatory requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
