Job summary

Silgan Unicep Packaging LLC in Spokane, WA is seeking a Production Operator I to work on a production line packaging products for distribution to customers. The role requires following written guidelines, operating machinery after training, and complying with GMP, QSR/ISO, FDA and OSHA standards to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The swing shift runs Mon-Fri 2PM to 10:30PM with a wage of $17.35-$20.00 per hour DOE.

Qualifications

Prior experience in a FDA regulated manufacturing facility preferred.
Ability to read and interpret written policies and procedures.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and count.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work with others to achieve goals.

Responsibilities

Works on a production line packaging products, following written guidelines and specifications for each product.
Independently operates production machinery after training and certification.
Follows established quality requirements for each product.
Adheres to all safety policies and procedures for operating equipment and handling raw materials and finished goods.
Cross train to other work stations to enable rotation of work.
Maintains good housekeeping and a clean work area.
Promotes teamwork to achieve production efficiency, quality, and on-time delivery goals.
Regular attendance is an essential function of this position.
Ensure compliance with GMP, QSR/ISO, FDA, OSHA, and all regulatory requirements.
Adheres to company safety requirements.
Other duties as assigned.
