Job summary

fairlife, LLC is seeking a Packaging Operator for a night shift in Coopersville, MI. The role operates labeling, case packing, blow molding, and palletizing equipment, ensuring products meet specs and maintaining clean, audit-ready lines.

You will feed materials, monitor machines, fix jams, and perform minor repairs while assisting with training and following GMP standards. A strong focus on safety and quality is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Proficiency in English for reading/writing and verbal communication.
• Basic math and reasoning skills.
• Must be able to operate equipment after training.
• Must possess or obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, GMP rules.
• Report to Production Supervisors.
• Safely operate equipment and adjust process for quality output.
• Observe and ensure products meet specifications.
• Inspect finished goods and adjust as needed.
• Stop/reset machines during malfunctions and clear jams.
• Supply packaging materials as required.
• Monitor line for jams and resolve issues.
• Escalate issues per procedure.
• Record finished and rejected materials.
• Clean equipment and maintain audit-ready area.
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs.
• Assist in training new personnel.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
