Job summary

Deschutes Brewery in Bend, Oregon, is hiring a full-time night shift Packaging Machine Operator to join our growing team and move Damn Tasty beverages into kegs, cans and bottles.

Shift runs 7:30pm–6:00am, Monday through Thursday, with a starting wage of $18.36/hour plus a $3.00/hour night shift differential. Career progression to about $28.60/hour is available after training and experience, with additional increases through cross-training and certifications.

Qualifications

• Willingness to learn brewery equipment and processes.
• Team-based work experience preferred.
• Safety and standard operating procedures training.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line and ensure proper labeling and packaging quality.
• Perform quality checks (bottled on dates, expiration dates, batch numbers).
• Maintain accuracy in can, bottle, and keg packaging processes.
• Assist with changing labels and other duties on the production floor.
• Work with team to meet production goals.
