Job summary

Pardee UNC Health Care in North Carolina seeks a Clinical Nurse to coordinate and deliver patient care in the Orthopedics unit. You will work nights and contribute to a high-quality nursing workflow, applying the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Required NC RN licensure or compact state license and BLS; ACLS preferred for select units. This full-time on-site role offers 36 hours per week with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in NC or a compact state by the day of clinical care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required for some units.

Responsibilities

• Administers patient care under the direction of a physician and coordinates care with the care team.
• Records the plan for care and patient response, ensuring accurate documentation.
• Delivers competent clinical nursing care in accordance with policies and standards.
• Organizes care based on patient/family needs and utilizes resources for complex cases.
• collaborates with peers to foster intra/interdepartmental communication.
• Synthesizes data to set priorities and assess discharge needs for patients and families.
• Communicates plan of care with patients and families with cultural sensitivity.
• Contributes to clinical and operational excellence through education and training.
• Maintains safety, infection control, and standard precaution practices.
