Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Brighton, MI is seeking an Overnight Warehouse Selector to join our distribution center team. You will be on your feet for long shifts, handle lifting up to 100 pounds, and work in a cold environment as part of our trained staff.

Starting pay is $21.90 per hour with two raises in your first year, plus uncapped performance incentives. The schedule is a rotating 4‑day work week with Saturdays off and opportunities across the team.

Responsibilities

• Stand for long periods and perform heavy lifting up to 100 lb in a freezer environment.
• Perform order picking and processing tasks on the warehouse floor.
• Work a rotating 4-day schedule with occasional overtime, weekends and holidays.
• Receive dedicated training from our team to learn proper procedures.

Overnight Warehouse Selector

Distribution Center Address: 8152 Kensington Ct., Brighton MI

Pay: Starting at $21.90/hour

Work Schedule

• Rotating 4 day work week that rotates every four months
• SATURDAYS OFF
• Shift rotates between Sunday - Wednesday, Tuesday - Friday, or a split shift of Mon/Tues -Wed/Friday.
• 6PM until finish (shifts vary based on work volume), often a 10-12 hour shift.

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. You'll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you'll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you'll be asked to work in our freezer, but there's no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we'll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn. Does this look like you?

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions).
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
