Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Plant City, FL is hiring for a 1st Shift Warehouse Selector. Starting pay is $20.90 per hour with two raises in the first year, and opportunities to earn more based on speed and efficiency. You'll help pick and package orders in a fast-paced distribution center, lifting up to 100 pounds and working in a freezer environment.

The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, 7:00 AM start, with Fridays and Saturdays off. No prior experience required; we provide training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Steady work history.
• Able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Able to work in extremely cold or hot conditions.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Selects and fulfills orders in a distribution center.
• Lifts up to 100 pounds.
• Works in a freezer environment.
• On-the-job training provided by dedicated training team.
• Standing/walking for 10 hours per shift.

You'll be on your feet for 10 hours of work, you'll be lifting up to 100 pounds, and you'll be asked to work in our freezer, but there's no experience required - we train you how to get the job done with our dedicated training team. Selecting is hard work, so we'll pay you a starting wage that scales with production and efficiency- the better you perform, the more you earn. • We have frozen products - your ability to work in extremely cold or hot conditions is required while you're here.
