Job summary

Abington Memorial Hospital in Warminster, PA, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. The role is full-time nights, 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, 36 hours per week, with perioperative experience preferred.

Responsibilities include interacting with patients and families, educating on care plans, and ensuring safe, culturally competent perioperative care within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered practice.
• Effective communication with patients, families and team.
• Active RN license in PA or NJ.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with staff and patients to deliver optimal care.
• Educates patients and families on learning priorities and care plans.
• Uses information systems to monitor care outcomes and improve safety.
• Works within inter-professional teams with open communication.
