Job summary

Berger Health System is seeking an RN to provide general nursing care across the continuum in a 24/7 department. The role requires an Ohio RN license, BLS, and at least 2 years of acute care experience. A BSN is required after 5 years of employment.

Night shift, 36 hours per week on a 3 shifts pattern, with weekend night rotation. The successful candidate will assess and plan patient care, collaborate with LPNs and UAPs, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within the Surgery Main

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.
• Must have at least 2 years of general OR RN experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Perform initial and ongoing health status assessment.
• Document planned nursing interventions to achieve outcomes.
• Evaluate response to interventions and revise care plans with the multidisciplinary team.
• Lead process improvement activities to improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction.
• Participate in department operations and team leadership.
