Job summary

ABB Optical Group in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Lab Technician/ Warehouse Associate to join our night shift (Mon-Fri, 8:30pm-5:00am). Responsibilities include measuring frames, preparing paperwork, packaging finished jobs, and operating lab and finishing equipment.

Candidates should have a HS diploma and some optical manufacturing experience, with emphasis on safety and accuracy. The role requires ability to follow procedures, work well in a team, and meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum six (6) months of optical manufacturing experience or related field.
• Ability to follow procedure and work both independently and in a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling lenses and frames.

Responsibilities

• Operate tracing machine to measure frames and prepare paperwork.
• Package and ship finished jobs; scan and file in correct bins.
• Sort frames, secure lenses in frames, and perform tinting and AR coating prep.
