Job summary

ABB Optical Group in Erlanger, KY is seeking a Finishing Team Lead for a Monday–Friday night schedule. You will supervise and actively work in the lab to ensure timely, accurate processing of products while mentoring staff and driving performance improvements.

The role requires at least 2.5 years in optical manufacturing, strong communication, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to follow procedures.
• Minimum of two (2) years and six (6) months of optical manufacturing experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day coordination of a specific lab function.
• Mentor and train employees to improve performance.
• Review performance data and implement process improvements.
• Schedule rotations and assign duties within the team.
• Ensure adherence to documented procedures and safety guidelines.
• Communicate department goals and updates to the team.
