Job summary

EMD Electronics in Tempe, AZ is seeking an Operations Technician to join our team on a 12-hour rotating shift (5 PM–5 AM). You will operate manufacturing equipment, follow safety procedures, and support plant routines to keep production running smoothly.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and experience in manufacturing or chemical production. Forklift operation and automated systems experience are a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment per SOPs and quality procedures.
• Perform plant routines and collect process samples as required.
• Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and submit maintenance requests.
• Monitor production processes and report deviations promptly.
• Inspect work areas for safety hazards and keep spaces organized.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain continuous production.
• Assist with training and onboarding of new employees.
