Job summary

You will lead a team, manage hiring and training, coordinate daily work, monitor safety and quality, and partner with the Operations Manager to meet service goals. Requires 3 years logistics, 1 year supervision, GED, forklift/MHE training; night/weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have a Highschool diploma or GED
• 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
• 1 year experience in a supervisory role
• Preferred: Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation
• Satisfactory completion of forklift training program

Responsibilities

• Directs staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and ensure continuous improvement
• Keeps senior management and client representatives informed of critical issues
• Develops systems for managing operations, equipment, and products safely and profitably
• Manages operations to meet productivity and service goals and complies with client terms
• Implements cost-saving measures and suggests efficiency improvements
• Ensures KPI targets are met and adheres to Quality system requirements
• Provides leadership, coaching, and development opportunities for team members
• Oversees hiring, training, and performance evaluations within the warehouse
