Kitchen Guard is seeking a Night Shift Supervisor to lead the overnight cleaning team, ensuring safety, quality, and reliable service for commercial kitchens in Chicago. You will monitor operations, enforce standards, and ensure a seamless night-time workflow.

Responsibilities include coaching staff, scheduling, coordinating with other departments, upholding all safety policies, and driving improvements to service and efficiency in a dynamic, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of growing management responsibility.
• Hood Cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Computer skills: Word, Excel, Internet.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.
• Previous experience working nights a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overnight department employees and enforce policies.
• Direct operations during the night shift to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct briefings for night staff.
• Maintain a professional, service-oriented environment.
• Manage night shift routes and coordinate with other departments.
• Assist overnight crew with exhaust cleaning tasks.
• Participate in decision-making to ensure seamless service.
• Monitor and develop team performance through supervision and training.
• Show initiative and leadership in problem-solving.
• Enforce safety policies and stay updated on procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
