Airgas is hiring an Operations Expeditor (Site Yard Supervisor) to oversee daily distribution yard activities, including asset loading/unloading, driver coordination, and site security. You will work with Branch and Plant leadership to ensure safety, compliance, and efficient operations.

The role requires a High School diploma with 3+ years supervising 10+ workers, OSHA familiarity, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Formación

• Education: High School diploma with 3+ years supervising 10+ production workers.
• Experience with OSHA regulations and continuous improvement methods (Lean/Six Sigma).
• Strong written/verbal communication and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support daily operations in the manufacturing yard, including asset loading/unloading and site security.
• Supervise transportation and vendor schedules to ensure safe traffic flow and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with Production to streamline floor operations and communicate order status.
• Assist with workforce planning, shift scheduling, and coverage for loading/unloading staff.
• Maintain on-site assets and conduct quality checks during loading/unloading.
• Identify hazards and coordinate maintenance planning with plant leadership.
