Job summary

Virtua Health is hiring for a One-to-One Observer role. This on-site, part-time position offers a night shift (12 hours) with 18 total weekly hours. The hourly rate ranges from $18.00 to $21.33, and the actual salary varies by experience and market data.

The observer will provide constant patient monitoring and safety in collaboration with the nursing team. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and completion of an observer course or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication skills.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Successful completion of Observer course or equivalent is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Provides constant one-to-one observation of assigned patient which includes providing a safe environment and positive interaction in a calm environment.
• Provides restraint care to patients in restraints.
• Identifies and communicates changes in patient's status to RN and responds appropriately.
• Assists in orientation of healthcare team.
• Other duties as assigned.
