Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Part-time Night Shift Registered Nurse for the Oncology Unit. This role offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus and requires RN licensure with BSN preferred. Night shifts run 7:00 p.m.

to 7:00 a.m., with every-other-weekend availability and holiday rotation. The Oncology 6 RP Unit provides specialized inpatient care including chemotherapy, hospice, and stem cell transplant support.

Qualifications

Valid RN license required.
BSN preferred; MSN optional.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.
Oncology/IMC experience not required; new grads welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care for oncology patients in 6 RP Unit, ensuring comfort and safety.
Administer medications, chemotherapy, and other treatments per protocol.
Monitor patient conditions and promptly respond to changes in status.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support individualized care plans.
