Job summary

Parkland Health and Hospital System in Dallas is seeking an experienced RN Oncology for the Part-time Night shift. You will coordinate patient care within the oncology team, assess patients, implement individualized plans, and ensure safe chemotherapy administration and central venous access management.

The role requires an active Texas RN license (or compact), BLS certification, and Oncology Nursing Society chemotherapy/immunotherapy credential within six months.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must have two years of nursing experience.
• Current, valid RN license in Texas or compact license; BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• Oncology Chemotherapy & Immunotherapy certificate within 6 months of placement.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to oncology patients per Texas Nurse Practice Act and unit standards.
• Coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary team and advocate for patients.
• Administer chemotherapy and manage central lines safely.
• Educate patients and families about cancer therapies and side effects.
