Job summary

Responsibilities include data collection, care planning, and patient-family education as part of a comprehensive nursing process. Qualified candidates will have an Ohio RN license with 2+ years of experience; BSN/MSN preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years RN experience for Associate/Diploma holders from ACEN/CCNE/NLN CNEA accredited programs.
• If hired without BSN/MSN, must enroll within 1 year and complete within 5 years.
• Active Ohio RN license; other state licensure may be required.
• Foreign graduates must have license validated as per Ohio Board rules (TruMerit).

Responsibilities

• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety standards in department and hospital.
• Monitor safety and departmental policies; ensure certifications and Safety College requirements are fulfilled.
• Communicate safety and compliance concerns to leadership.
• Apply systems thinking to patient and family care through care coordination.
• Document plan of care, care delivered, and patient/family outcomes.
• Develop care goals with patients/families using self-management support.
• Engage in learning and coaching with peers and student learners.
• Participate in unit-based councils and shared decision making.
