Job summary

Mission Hospital, a part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Clinical Nurse Coordinator for Nights in Oncology. The CNC will oversee patient-centered nursing care, collaborate with leadership, and drive quality outcomes across the unit. This is a nurse leadership role focused on throughput, staffing, and service excellence.

Qualifications include ADN with NC RN licensure, BLS, and oncology/chemotherapy certification within 1 year; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required.
• Active RN license with NC Board of Nursing.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification; ONS Chemotherapy/Biotherapy within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge to ensure efficient throughput and high quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of care quality with the management team.
• Collaborate with managers to create a teamwork-focused environment.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Operationalize nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement.
• Assist with interviewing, selecting, training staff, and performance actions.
• Assist with staff scheduling and productivity in line with patient needs.
• Support inventory control and equipment/supplies management.
