Job summary

Integrated DNA Technologies (IDT) is seeking a Technician II–Synthesis to maintain standard work in the Plate and Column Synthesis lab in Coralville, IA. On-site nights Fri–Sun, 7 pm to 7:30 am, with responsibilities in oligo production and material management.

You will operate HPLCs, utilize liquid handling robots, and troubleshoot equipment while coordinating with management to keep high-throughput workflows on track.

Qualifications

• Associate’s (2 year) degree or comparable combination of education and experience required.
• Prior IDT synthesis experience
• Experience with SAP, Excel/Outlook/Power BI is a plus
• Liquid handling robot use and troubleshooting is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate HPLCs and daily produce high-quality oligos.
• Use liquid handling robots and other lab machinery to drive high-throughput production.
• Process and transfer quality products for customer use.
• Organize and prioritize the workflow in the lab as directed by management.
• Troubleshoot issues by identifying and reporting problems.
• Identify instrument problems to submit and follow up on work orders.
