Job summary

Koch Foods in Chattanooga, TN is seeking a licensed nurse for a 3rd shift role (11 PM to 7 AM) to provide medical care from minor incidents to first aid and to support safety managers in health services.

Responsibilities include pre-employment physicals, drug testing, workers' comp records, scheduling doctor visits, and developing wellness programs; COHN certification preferred or obtainable, OSHA/ADA/FMLA knowledge, and confidentiality assured.

Qualifications

• Current licensed RN or LPN required.
• COHN certification or willingness to obtain.
• Occupational health experience preferred.
• Confidential handling of employee health information.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, FMLA regulations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care from minor incidents to first aid.
• Support Safety Managers in coordinating health services.
• Maintain workers' compensation information and schedule doctor visits.
• Coordinate pre-employment physicals and drug testing.
• Develop and implement employee health and wellness programs.
• Maintain relationship with local occupational health clinic.
• Manage training on hearing conservation, heat stress, respiratory protection and ergonomics.
