Job summary

Intermountain Health in Montana is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Labor & Delivery, Mom/Baby, and NICU coverage. The role is predominantly night shifts with occasional days to meet staffing needs. Previous OB NICU or L&D experience is preferred.

You will assess patients, coordinate care with the health team, and ensure documentation aligns with guidelines. The position requires a BSN within 4 years (or 15 years acute care).

Qualifications

• BSN degree required within 4 years unless 15 years of acute care service.
• Failure to obtain a BSN degree within this time frame may result in suspension or termination of employment.
• Any nurse hired after 2014 will have 5 years to obtain a BSN.

Responsibilities

• Assess, recognize and address patients' psychological and physical needs.
• Foster quality of care with the best interests of patients and their families in mind.
• Communicate compassionately and effectively.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Oversee care delivered by LPNs and/or CNAs.
• Participate in clinical team conferences.
