Orange County Government is seeking a Nurse Unit Supervisor for the Orange County Correctional Facility in Orlando, FL. The role oversees a designated nursing unit, ensuring quality patient care per established protocols and may act as Nurse Manager in absence.

Requires RN license in Florida, BSN, and supervisory experience. Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, coordinating care, and supporting physicians and other healthcare professionals in a correctional setting.

Qualifikationen

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
Four years as a registered nurse with at least two years in a supervisory capacity.
Current Florida RN license required.
BCLS certification required.
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends.

Aufgaben

Directs and oversees nursing unit staff (LPNs, RNs, MAs, Lab Technicians).
Instructs, educates, and reviews staff performance.
Maintain division standards and staff records.
Schedule development and assignment of duties.
Assist physicians and nurses in patient care and assessments.
Conduct monthly staff meetings and daily rounds.
