Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Nursing Care Assistant (NCA-3) for the night shift to support patients under the supervision of an RN. This role involves basic patient care, processing physician orders, and performing clerical tasks while ensuring age-appropriate care.

You will use EHR systems, maintain accurate documentation, coordinate care with the team, follow infection control policies, and participate in unit activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum education required: High school diploma, or equivalent.
• Minimum experience preferred: 1 year experience in an acute or long term health care setting.

Responsibilities

• Proficient in using computer and software programs.
• Uses accurate medical terminology.
• Follows Code Procedures.
• Adheres strictly to Infection Control Policy, with an emphasis on hand hygiene.
• Maintains up-to-date documentation, charting in real time.
• Coordinates care with other disciplines.
