Job summary

Reid Health is seeking a Nursing Care Assistant for the Night shift at the Main Campus in Richmond, VA. Under supervision of an RN, you will provide basic patient care, process physician orders, answer calls, and support unit operations.

The role requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year in acute or long-term care preferred, and ability to use EHR and hospital systems. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required or obtainable.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision.
• Process physician orders and document care.
• Answer telephone and intercom; coordinate with teams.

• Maintain infection control and hand hygiene.
• Assist with admissions/transfers/discharges and patient transport.
