Job summary

Cfg Health System in Newark, NJ is seeking a Part Time Nursing Assistant to support the nursing team. Provides medical and administrative assistance to members of the nursing team on night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Assistant Program or comparable program.
• Experience working in a physician office, clinic or ambulatory health care center.
• Must be CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Aids physicians and nursing staff members as needed
• Assists with diagnostic tests and clinical procedures in accordance with his/her level of training
• Performs EKGs
• Obtains patient history
• Monitors vital signs
• Obtains non-invasive body fluid specimens
• All other duties as assigned

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent
