Kettering Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our interdisciplinary patient care team at KH Hamilton. The role focuses on assisting patients with activities of daily living and performing delegated care tasks under the licensed nurse's supervision.

Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation and CPR/BLS certification are required. Candidates may have six months of hospital or long-term care experience, be a nursing student, or be a current KH employee.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• Must have one of the following: six months experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or long-term care facility; completion of Nursing Assistant course in the last six months; nursing student or pre-nursing as shown on transcripts; current KH employee.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Assistant serves as a member of our interdisciplinary patient care team.
• Supports patients with activities of daily living and performs patient care skills as delegated by the licensed nurse within the Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Maintains and demonstrates knowledge, skill, and ability of delegated tasks.
• Supports department operational needs and performs other duties as assigned.
• Reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
