Qualifications

• Successful completion of KH Nursing Assistant orientation.
• Certification in CPR/BLS.
• One of: six months experience as a nursing assistant in a hospital or long-term care facility; completion of Nursing Assistant course in last six months; nursing student or pre-nursing as per transcripts; current KH employee.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a member of interdisciplinary patient care team.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and perform delegated patient care skills within Ohio Board of Nursing Scope of Practice.
• Maintain and demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability of delegated tasks.
• Support department operational needs and perform other duties as assigned.
